My childhood taqueria. Still has the same seasoning on the meat. Their burrito toppings are always fresh and made to order. Parking is always a gamble, but what can you expect from Grand Ave now a days. Plan accordingly. The place has always had somewhere to sit, even on their busiest days you'll find a seat or won't have to wait long for a table. The customer service there wasn't anything out of the ordinary. This review is solely on the nostalgia I have for the place. If you want authentic Mexican food this is your place!

Where else can you find a Super burrito under $10 in 2024? I'd eat here over fast food 100% of the time. My go to is the Carne asada super burrito but without the hot sauce. Parking is kind of difficult if youre looking for parking right in front. But I typically park in the large parking structure behind el farolito and walk through the alley to El farolito opposed to circling around the block multiple times looking for parking. I'm not going to say that their food is the best but when on a budget there's no comparison. I asked the guy working the cash register why they still offer super burritos under $10 in this day and age when it's super common to see super burritos for $13-15. And he simply told me "we don't want to raise the prices unless we ababsolutely have to since we believe in feeding the people at an affordable cost." I think this mindset is a "last of a dying breed" since most restaraunts are always chasing large profits. I always make sure to tip them since they are a hidden gem in terms of food prices in 2024.

Farolito has been a renowned spot for burritos and the location on Mission isn't convenient for me. However, I was on South San Francisco and so glad they have a location there and parking is convenient. My go to for all Mexican restaurants is the Carne Asada burrito. I also enjoy Lengua. Unfortunately, they didn't have Lengua so I went with an Al Pastor taco. Both were flavorful and I loved the fresh green salsa. The only thing was the steak and pork were a little on the dry side. The restaurant had a steady flow of customers and I saw a lot of businesses buying lots of burritos for their lunches. I look forward to exploring more Mexican restaurants:)

I've gotten a carne asada super burrito the two times I've been here. I liked it so much I had to get it again. The second time my burrito wasn't very mixed. One part of the burrito was all meat and one part was all rice but still highly enjoyed. I thought it was affordable, had great portions, and some really good salsa verde came with it. Super solid place and pretty quick service. Excited to try other things!

One of my favorite places to go to. I love ordering the Al pastor burrito and two lengua(beef tounge) tacos. Food and service is great here and plenty of seating inside. The burritos are nicely filled with a good proportion of meat, cheese, rice and avocado. Add the salsa and it will be a guaranteed party of flavors in the mouth. The lengua tacos are filled like a mountain, also packed with flavors and the onion and cilantro on top gives it the right balance. Also price is insanely reasonable for what you get. Best Mexican taqueria in the bay, hands down!!!

We got here at around noon today and there were only 2 tables with people. We ordered our food and more people started trickling in. By the time we were done at around 12:40pm, there was only 1 unoccupied table left! It certainly filled up fast on a Saturday afternoon! I had the enchilada meal and chose to have 1 carne asada and 1 pork with green chili sauce. They were both good and the plate came with avocado, salad, rice, and beans. I enjoyed every bite of it. My husband had a super burrito without rice and was very happy with it. Overall a very good meal without paying too much.

So came here based on other people's reviews and wow what a great hidden gem. I got the super burrito with Chile verde and for $10 what a heck of a deal I highly recommend.

My favorite burrito place. Hubby and I debated Japanese vs Burritos for takeout. His eyes lit up when I suggested returning here. We bought 2 super burritos: my fav, chile verde (pork) and his, carne asada, both with Blk beans. I also got a strawberry Fresca which was good but too sweet. The rice in my burrito was especially tasty. Although I could only eat 1/3 of it. I saved the other portions after cutting the remaining 2/3 for another meal. Gives me something to look forward to. I can't wait to return again. But I might try the pineapple Fresca next time. The cashier is always nice and friendly and recognizes his regulars.

Came here with my family on their recommendation. They recommended the super burritos. I had the Cabeza super burrito and a mango Agua Fresca. My burrito had lots of meat, rice, beans, fresh avocado, and was super delicious! Close to the airport and easy to find, easy to park. A little hole in the wall and a hidden gem! Order at the counter and they bring the food out to you. Both sides of this service for a quick, efficient and very friendly! Plan on taking a third of your burrito home with you because they are huge!
